Our Classes

We pay great attention to detail and the precision that requires Pilates to be effective. That being said, we keep our classes small as to cue and correct each individual who attends. Our studio takes a comprehensive approach to connecting with the body, physically and mentally, for a more well-rounded result. We use a wide variety of equipment as each one challenges the body differently. When you join our classes you become part of our family!

Transform your body

At Breathe Pilates Studio, our teachers will get to know you personally. You will feel you’ve become part of our Breathe family and community right away! When you arrive, you will be welcomed with smiling faces in this judgement free zone. The link between personal connection, attention, and motivation is key to achieving your goals!

Our classes are designed to realign your body, tone and strengthen your physique, and leave you with a calm and recharged mind. Small group classes create an inviting atmosphere and allow for proper one-on-one attention, as well as creating connections with your fellow students! Our studio welcomes all levels, from those just starting an exercise regimen to the extreme athlete looking to cross train or rehab an injury.

Our Pilates classes use the BASI PILATES® method, a contemporary and progressive approach to the original Pilates exercise method. BASI Pilates incorporates modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making BASI Pilates one of the safest and most effective Pilates methods available. BASI Pilates has the highest standards for training and certification within the Pilates industry. BASI Pilates focuses on maintaining, or regaining, an ideal postural alignment while focusing on the individual.

Reformer

Experience a total body workout that will leave you feeling stronger, more flexible, and standing with improved body alignment! In our reformer classes we take you through a flow that hits every body part and every range of motion to address potential imbalances and build strength. Traditional as well as contemporary exercises are taught. No one class is alike!

Jump

A high-intensity class combining cardio and Pilates all done on the reformer using the jump board. A very fun, yet intense class that will give you the “awareness” you are looking for! Prerequisite note: people with injuries or new to Pilates should have done Group Reformer or our Intro to Group first.

Tower

The Tower focuses more on elongating the muscles and balance. On this piece of equipment the springs allow right and left to work independently, brining awareness to any imbalances from one side to the other. A different sense of control is present as opposed to the reformer. Making sure your body is challenged in new and different ways is what brings about change!

Pilates Power Hour is an invigorating fusion of classic Pilates equipment movements, fat burning cardiovascular exercises, as well as full body strength building. They key principles of Pilates core training added to more modern movements make this workout powerful. It is a full body conditioning program that will lengthen and strengthen your muscles, with the added advantage of improving your muscle-to-fat ratio. Pilates Power Hour is fun, quick-paced, and will work your body from head to toe. This class is for all levels.

Mixed Equipment

Instructors choice! Don’t know which piece of equipment is your favorite? Why not explore it all! This class makes use of two or more apparatus. Each piece gives you something different and challenges you in a new way. Mixing it up is always fun!

Mat

Looking for the ultimate challenge? Mat is the original form that Joseph Pilates first implemented. As opposed to the equipment, that gives you support, your own body is your support system here. Create the ultimate power house with this most functional form of exercise. There is no fit like mat fit!
